Search for missing Cardiff City player Emiliano Sala is suspended

French police and the French Civil Aviation authority confirmed Premier League team Cardiff City’s new signing Emiliano Sala was on a light aircraft which disappeared over the Channel Islands. Rescuers from Guernsey Police have been looking for the plane, which was traveling from Nantes, France to Cardiff, Wales, but have suspended the search overnight. The Argentine striker was one of two people on board.
