MPs vote to reject a no deal Brexit but back bid to change Irish backstop

MPs voted on a series of amendments to Theresa May's original withdrawal agreement. Amendments ruling out a no deal Brexit and insisting on a renegotiated Irish backstop were approved. The amendments are not legally binding but will form the basis of May's attempts to renegotiate her deal.
