Washington Post report investigates Mueller's statement disputing BuzzFeed's Cohen report

The Washington Post published an investigation about why the special counsel's office took the rare step of issuing a statement after BuzzFeed News published its explosive Michael Cohen report on Thursday. It alleges that Mueller's team did so because they could not find any evidence that backed the testimony cited by the news outlet. On Saturday, BuzzFeed said it stood by the accuracy of its initial reporting.
